Shirly Mahlab Hefetz’s primary practice area is labor law, representing both Israeli and foreign companies, and other entities including foreign governments, in a variety of employment-related matters. As well as providing ongoing advice and legal opinions on various aspects of employment, such as hiring and dismissal proceedings and labor law compliance, she also prepares agreements relating to employment, freelancing, employment termination, and settlements.
In addition, Shirly represents clients before the regional and national labor courts in a range of cases, including discrimination, wage, and unlawful dismissal claims. She also represents employers before various bodies in administrative and other proceedings, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Department for the Regulation and Enforcement of Labor Laws, of the Ministry of Labor.
Shirly began her legal career in 2007 as an intern at E.S Shimron, I. Molho, Persky & Co., subsequently returning as associate, and was made partner at that firm in 2018. Having gained several years of experience in advising and representing clients in various civil and commercial fields, and in particular in complex commercial litigation and in the preparation of commercial agreements, she joined Arnon, Tadmor-Levy in 2020, becoming a partner in 2023.
