Ran Yosef is an associate in the Emerging Technologies and AI Department at Arnon, Tadmor-Levy. His practice focuses on legal and regulatory matters at the intersection of technology innovation financial regulation.
Ran advises financial institutions, technology companies, and startups on a wide range of regulatory, corporate, commercial, and transactional matters, with particular experience in digital assets, decentralized finance (DeFi), tokenized products (including stablecoins and RWAs), trading and exchange platforms (including Prediction Markets), fintech, and AI-driven services.
Ran advises regularly on financial regulation in technology-driven environments, including financial services licensing, securities law, payments, AML/CFT matters and FATF-related frameworks.
His work focuses on cross-border financial services and the structuring, launch, and operation of innovative products and platforms, including digital wallets (custodial and non-custodial), blockchain-based financial models, and algorithmic trading providers (including market-makers, signal and social trading platforms). He also frequently advises on the advertising, marketing, and promotion of financial products.
Ran is experienced in advising and representing clients in a wide range of complex transactions across the digital-assets and fintech ecosystem, including token launches, investments, and sales (including ICOs, TGEs, SAFT, and airdrops); custody and escrow arrangements; and complex derivative and collateral transactions (including under the ISDA framework). In addition, Ran has substantial litigation experience, having advised and represented clients in complex proceedings before Israeli courts, including the Economic Department and the Supreme Court.
Ran received his LL.B. (cum laude) from Reichman University and his LL.M. from Columbia Law School. He is fluent in Hebrew and English.
