Aviad Lachmanovitch has unique expertise working with financial service providers, advising financial institutions ranging from large commercial banks, to non-banking financial institutions and credit providers, through foreign and Israeli fintech companies. He has led complex financing transactions, as well as capital raising and securitization projects. In this regard, he has advised both funders and parties that raise capital.
Aviad regularly advises leading Israeli and foreign financial institutions in the implementation of regulation, anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism compliance, and privacy and data protection, as well as the development and implementation of innovation and new payment methods in Israel.
Further, Aviad benefits from extensive experience and close working relations with Israel’s prudential and financial regulators, having been involved in the drafting of relevant laws and guidelines, participating in Knesset committees’ discussions, commenting on the draft guidelines and legislation, and advising clients on their implications.
Aside from his extensive work in financial services, Aviad also serves as legal counsel to some of the largest non-profit organizations in Israel in their ongoing commercial matters.
