Orly Tsioni is a partner at the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Department. With over 16 years of experience in the fields of capital markets, corporate law, and mergers and acquisitions, she has represented companies at different stages of development, from pre-seed, interim stage, to fully-functional entities, including entrepreneurs, startups, venture capital funds, private companies, and multinational public companies traded in Israel as well as overseas.
In the field of capital markets in particular, Orly has obtained profound knowledge in all relevant laws, regulations and proceedings of both Israeli and foreign authorities. She represents public companies traded on the Tel Aviv, US and European stock exchanges.
Orly’s business orientation initially developed while working at a startup company prior to her legal career. Orly also devoted several years to the study of biology and genetics, where she honed her ability to perform precise, thorough and detailed work, for which she is widely acknowledged in her current position.
Being fully acquainted with her clients’ business models and requirements, Orly advises regarding all corporate matters, on a regular basis. She works closely with the company’s management, consulting on day-to-day matters while contributing her legal expertise and experience whenever the need arises.
While bearing in mind a company’s best interest, Orly manages commercial transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, investment agreements, technology transfer agreements, and complex corporate finance transactions in a variety of fields, including high-tech, research and development, biotechnology, and communications.
Orly graduated from Tel Aviv University in 1990 with a B.A. in biology, and an M.Sc. in human genetics in 1992. She received her law degree from Tel Aviv University in 1995, and went on to gain an executive MBA from Bar-Ilan University in 1998 during her first years as a lawyer.
Orly has been a partner at the firm since 2000.
