Bio

Leonie Baranes’ practice focuses on privacy law, with an emphasis on the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States. She provides legal advice to technology companies in commercial matters and provides assistance when guiding companies through the regulatory aspects of emerging technologies.

Previously, she gained extensive experience by working in law firms specializing in commercial law, corporate law, competition law, and class actions. Throughout her degree, she was active as an NGO representative at the United Nations in the field of women’s rights.

During her studies, she completed a semester at Tel Aviv University and was awarded a scholarship for academic excellence. Her thesis focused on the comparison of different jurisdictions regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence in the public sector.

Leonie is fluent in German, French, English and Hebrew.
