We are proud to have played a role in the completion of Lenovo’s acquisition of Infinidat — a highly complex cross-border transaction, among the most complex seen in recent years, in which we advised Infinidat over the past several years and throughout every stage of the sale process.
The transaction, which was first announced more than a year ago, marks Lenovo’s first acquisition in Israel. Following completion, Infinidat will continue to operate as a business unit within Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group, with all of the company’s employees expected to remain in their roles. At the same time, Lenovo is expected to significantly expand its development operations in Israel.
The transaction strengthens Lenovo’s position in the enterprise storage sector — a field at the core of growth in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and mission-critical enterprise systems.
Our work on the transaction included managing complex regulatory processes across multiple jurisdictions, and it underscores the importance of precise, ongoing, multidisciplinary legal management — bringing together regulation, financing, tax, and litigation — through to the successful completion of a complex global transaction.
