Itamar Cohen’s practice focuses on several aspects of commercial, civil, and corporate law, including representation in commercial negotiations and providing ongoing legal counseling to various corporate entities. He also advises financial institutions and fintech companies on financial regulation, payments services, licensing and AML. In addition, he is a member of the firm’s Blockchain and Crypto Department.
Itamar has been a co-lecturer at the International Transactions Workshop of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem since 2015. He also co-authored the Israel chapter on Law and Practice for the Chambers’ Global Guide on Fintech (2021) and The Legal 500’s Comparative Legal Guide on Fintech (2nd edition, 2019).
Itamar holds an LL.B. and a M.B.A. (majoring in finance and banking), both under an integrated program for outstanding students at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Itamar was admitted to the Israel Bar in 2014, joined the firm the same year, and became a partner in 2022.
