With over two decades of experience, Gil has been instrumental in navigating complex transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, bank and non-bank financing, securitization, and mortgage sales. He regularly provides legal counsel to leading public companies, offering comprehensive support in corporate and securities law, corporate governance, compliance, controlling shareholder transactions, executive compensation, enforcement programs, public offerings, private placements, and investment and finance agreements.
Gil has played a key role in significant public company debt arrangements and restructuring, representing entities such as companies, controlling shareholders, banks, bondholders, and other creditors. He has also been appointed by the court as an official for companies in insolvency, serving as a liquidator, receiver, and trustee during stays of proceedings.
Among Gil’s recent clients are prominent entities such as Israel Corporation Ltd., Discount Bank, State Bank of India, the debenture holders of Habas Investments (1960) Ltd., the debenture holders of Scorpio Real Estate Ltd., the bondholders of Scailex Corporation Ltd., and Hermetic Trust (1975) Ltd. – the trustee of Plaza Centers N.V.’s bondholders.

For over a decade, Gil has been a member of the firm’s executive committee. He obtained his law degree from Tel Aviv University in 1992, was admitted to the Israel Bar in 1994, joined the firm the same year, and became a partner in 1999.
