Ayal HaCohen is a partner in the firm’s Competition/Antitrust Department, regularly assisting domestic and multinational companies in all areas of antitrust law. Having steered many filings of giant transactions to antitrust clearance, Ayal has vast experience in merger control. He also represents clients with respect to joint ventures, restrictive arrangements and matters relating to monopolies and abuse of dominant position.
Ayal has special expertise in working with large, multinational corporations on complex merger-control cases, and representing clients in merger-control proceedings related to M&A and joint venture transactions. Another area of special expertise is the tech industry, where he advises large platforms as well as local players. Ayal also provides competition law advice regarding the ongoing matters and ventures of major companies, including in connection with other regulated industries, such as health and pharma, environmental protection, gas and oil, food and retail, and advises clients on implementing antitrust compliance programs, representing them in proceedings regarding price control and freedom of information.
