Bio

Since 1985, Moti Baicz has established himself as a distinguished litigator in the field of civil and commercial law.

His practice encompasses representing banks, high-tech companies, venture capital funds, and parties in opposition to banks. Moti brings substantial expertise to building and construction matters, labor disputes, and administrative law petitions related to public tenders.

Moti joined the firm in 1991, becoming partner in 2000.

He pursued his legal education at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where he earned his law degree in 1984 and an LL.M with honors in 1988.

Moti was admitted to the Israel Bar in 1985.

EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Representing the state of Israel (the Jerusalem light rail) in an arbitration against the former concessionaire “Citipass”, regarding delays in the operation of the light rail in Rolsheh.
  • Representing  the flagship yeshiva in the Lithuanian world – the Ponibiz yeshiva.
  • Representing an individual in a state lawsuit against him regarding the payment of development expenses in the amount of approximately 108 million NIS.
  • Representing of the Resco company in a dispute with tenants regarding the quality of a construction project in Jerusalem.
  • Representation in a dispute between Jerusalem city and an entrepreneur regarding a preserved building  in the center of Jerusalem.
  • Representing a purchasing group against “Electra” company in the development of an apartment tower on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv – a dispute that lasted over a decade and ended recently.
  • Representing a group of investors before an expert in the field of investments in the international currency markets which caused the loss of millions of dollars and reached the door of the court and is still ongoing.
  • Representing a group of investors against the Gamla Harel company – receiving non-bank credit in a dispute regarding the allowed interest rate.
  • Representing Zichron Ya’akov against a private entrepreneur who entered into an agreement with the mayor without the council’s approval.
