Alina Shehter specializes in the fields of planning and construction and real estate law, representing and advising governmental bodies, local authorities and private entities. Her main specialization is accompanying residential, commercial, industrial (including in the fields of energy and waste) and employment projects through the process of obtaining approvals for a wide variety of master plans, in licensing procedures, and the issuance of building permits.
Alina has rich experience in litigation. She represents clients before planning institutions and courts throughout the country, in proceedings related to planning and construction and business licensing, including objection procedures, appeals to various appeal committees, administrative petitions, civil issues including class actions, and claims for payment of compensation.
Alina’s ongoing work in the area of planning and construction and real estate includes providing advice to various entities in the Israeli economy, such as companies in the real estate sector, banks, associations, and government companies, in various aspects related to statutory regulation of their real estate activities. This includes analysis of issues concerning improvement levy procedures and fees, and support before various professional consultants, including architects, appraisers, government authorities, including the Israel Land Authority, and relevant authorized regulators (among them, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Health).
Alina’s expertise includes representing privets in criminal aspect of planning and construction laws and business licensing.
Working in cooperation with the firm’s Real Estate Department, Alina accompanies the planning and construction aspects of projects, including providing ongoing advice in connection with government tenders for housing.
