Bio

Ely joined the firm in 2024, interning in the firm’s commercial litigation department.

Prior to joining the firm, Ely worked at various law firms in Jerusalem, gaining experience in the fields of Litigation, Labor, Torts, Real estate, Heritage and Corporate law.

He worked as a legal pre-intern with MK Rabbi Gilad Kariv, ex-chairman of the Constitution, Legislation and Law Committee of the Knesset. There, he was personally involved in Basic Law of Equality, public sector matters and legal and legislative work in MK’s office.

During his student exchange semester at Leiden University, as part of the EU’s excellence scholarship Erasmus+, Ely worked as a legal pre-intern with Israel’s Embassy to The Hague. His roles included responsibility over ICC and ICJ proceedings, including Russia v. Ukraine and the Advisory Opinion against Israel. He prepared weekly updates on judicial activity in various international tribunals.

During his studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Ely was a teaching assistant in the Legal Research and Writing course as well as a research assistant to Professor Yoram Shachar regarding the Declaration of Independence and its early drafts, to be published in The Oxford Handbook of the Israeli Constitution.
