Shir Katav works in the firm’s Competition/ Antitrust Department. As part of her work, she advises local and foreign clients on various aspects in this field of law, including issues in the food sector, complex mergers, joint ventures, restrictive trade practices, and matters relating to abuse of dominant position. She also accompanies clients in class actions, as well as in complex cases before the Competition Authority and the Competition Tribunal.
Shir earned her degrees in law and business administration from the Hebrew University, both magna cum laude, in 2021. During her studies, she served as a research assistant to Prof. Guy Davidov in the field of labor law, and as a teaching assistant to Dr. Sharon Shakargy in the field of family law. Having joined the firm as a legal intern in 2021, Shir became an attorney in 2023.
